At right is a collapsible Indian rosewood footrest that Cameron Carr made. (Many know Cameron as a high-end furniture and cabinet maker, a guitar builder; he was shop manager at CFOX Guitars, and he helped run the American School of Lutherie, and he ran our wood processing operation.) Anyway, Cameron made these in his shop based on a mahogany-like sample that Kenny Hill loaned us that was made in Japan. Cameron improved it on many levels, including using solid brass hinges, rubber feet for better stability and traction, improved joints, and of course the beautiful, rich, rosewood adds a little something. It's made to fit in your guitar case. (Dimensions: 9-3/8" X 3-1/2" X 1-1/8") The quality is superb, and for a hand-crafted product the price is very fair.
