We have just a few sets of highly figured bubinga, with striking sapwood-heartwood contrast. Note that almost all of these sets are large enough to place a Dreadnaught pattern so that the sapwood can be at the join or at the outer bouts.
New, gorgeous Amazon rosewood (Dalbergia spruceana) in stock! (6th row of photos this page.) Selected for beauty ― we looked for the darker type ― and lack of mineral deposits common to this species. We have a good, continuous supply, with more due in mid June. All 2-piece backs. Great tone, good working properties. Some of it is so similar to Brazilian that's difficult to tell the difference, but it is generally a little heavier.
